CMSgt Jael R. Siekert, is the Force Support Squadron Senior Enlisted Leader, 190th Air Refueling Wing (ARW), Forbes Field, Kansas. Chief Siekert is responsible for the morale, readiness, training, safety, and effectiveness of 44 airmen and four civilian employees, in support of the mission and operations of Manpower, Personnel, Base Training, Formal Schools, Fitness, Dining, Mortuary Affairs and Readiness, to include empowering innovation and developing future leaders in the profession of arms.
Chief Siekert began her career with the Wisconsin Air National Guard (ANG) in April 1998 as a Food Service Apprentice at the 115th Fighter Wing, Madison, Wisconsin. Upon completion of basic military training, she attended the USAF/Navy Consolidated Food Service course at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB), Texas, graduating in September 1998. Chief Siekert deployed in February 2002 as a Food Service Journeyman to Prince Sultan Air Base, in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. Prior to deploying, she was selected for and later retrained to be the State Staff Personnel Technician, Joint Force Headquarters-Wisconsin, responsible for promotions, awards and decorations for three bases, while administratively supporting state senior leadership. In 2008, Chief Siekert accepted a reassignment to the 128th Air Control Squadron, Volk Field Air National Guard Base, where she served as the Commander Support Staff Senior Noncommissoned Officer responsible for Personnel programs and administrative actions of 184 members. Upon selection for a Statutory Tour with the Air National Guard Readiness Center, Detachment 41, Chief Siekert relocated to Buckley Space Force Base (SFB) in May 2019 as the Operations Branch Chief, Headquarters Air Reserve Personnel Center (HQ ARPC). She managed a team of 12 airmen and civilians responsible for the Knowledge Management Program, System Support office, Field Support Service Element, and Customer Service case management. Additionally, she produced operational metrics for the Personnel and Total Force Services Director, commanders, and senior Air Force leadership.
Prior to assuming her current position, Chief Siekert was the Transition Division Manager, HQ ARPC, responsible for managing 5 branches, consisting of 56 personnel, across multiple highly visible programs; to include Guard and Reserve Separations, Retirements, Casualty Reporting, and the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS) Project Office. Additionally, she provided mentorship and leadership across the Center, taking on additional duties during several key staff vacancies.
