Chief Master Sergeant BEN WEBB

CMSgt Ben Webb is the 190th Operations Group Senior Enlisted Leader at 190th Air Refueling Wing, Forbes Field, Topeka, Kansas. He is the Group’s senior enlisted leader and principal advisor to the commander on matters affecting the health, morale, welfare, readiness, professional development and effective utilization of more than 90 enlisted Airmen.

 

CMSgt Ben Webb began his military career in the United States Navy on May 30th, 1995. After completing basic training and Navy Aircraft Structural Maintenance technical school, he was assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 9 where he worked on F/A-18 A/B/C/D model aircraft. CMSgt Webb wrapped up his Navy enlistment on 31 May 1999 and returned home to Illinois. In October 2003, CMSgt Webb joined the 190 ARW Maintenance Squadron where he served in the Repair and Reclamation section as a temporary technician for the KC-135 strut mod. CMSgt Webb applied for a full-time technician position in early 2004 and was selected to serve as an Aircraft Structural Mechanic within the Maintenance Squadron. During his time in structural maintenance, he served in the Quality Assurance office as a traditional Quality Assurance inspector until being hired as full-time inspector in February 2015. From February 2015 until November 2017, CMSgt Webb served in the 190 Maintenance Group Quality Assurance office until being selected as the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron A-Flight Chief. CMSgt Webb served as the A-Flight Chief from November 2017 to January 2022 until being selected as the Quality Assurance Superintendent. In 2023 he was selected as the 190th Operations Group Superintendent, advising the Commander on issues involving the enlisted force and mission critical issues for the group.

 

CMSgt Webb earned his Associates in Applied Science Degree from the Community College of the Air Force in April 2015 and his Bachelor’s in General Studies with a focus on Organizational Leadership from Fort Hays State University. Throughout his military career in the Air National Guard, CMSgt Webb has completed several TDYs and has deployed in support of missions to CENTCOM, PACOM and EUCOM.
