Colonel Noah Diehl

Col. Noah W. Diehl (deel) is the 190th Mission Support Group Commander, Forbes Field, Topeka, Kan. His responsibility is to provide expeditionary combat forces for worldwide combat, contingency, and humanitarian operations. He leads the full spectrum support efforts for a wing of 12 KC-135 aircraft and 960 personnel while supporting the State and Nation in times of disaster and domestic emergency response. Her command responsibilities include oversight of the Civil Engineer Squadron, Communications Squadron, Force Support Squadron, Logistics Readiness Squadron, Security Forces Squadron, and Contracting.

Prior to assuming his current role Diehl was the Mission Support Group Deputy Commander, Forbes Field, Topeka, Kan. Before his role as Deputy Commander, he was the Base Civil Engineer and Squadron Commander. He was responsible for the organization, training and equipping of 150 guardsmen and civilians for base operations, contingency response, and disaster relief while sustaining, repairing, and maintaining 33 facilities totaling 400,000 square feet of real property across 193 acres primarily supporting the KC-135 air refueling mission.

Before his role as Squadron commander and Base Civil Engineer, Diehl was Deputy Base Civil Engineer, where he planned, programed, and executed base modernization and was the Operations Flight Commander for the traditional guardsmen. Before serving as Deputy, Diehl was an engineering officer in the Air Force Reserves, where he led a traditional PRIME BEEF team.

Diehl received his commission through Reserve Officer Training Corps from Virginia Military Institute in 2004. He supported the State Partnership Program in Latvia and Armenia with humanitarian aid.  He deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve and Freedom's Sentinel.
