Lieutenant Colonel CHRISTOPHER R. HILL

Lt. Col. Christopher R. Hill is the Commander of the 190th Comptroller Flight, Forbes Field Air National Guard Base, Kansas. He serves as the principal financial advisor to the Wing and Group Commanders as well as an Assistant United States Property and Fiscal Officer for the State of Kansas.  He is responsible for planning, managing, and directing the resource management activities for the Wing's $45 Million in annual funds. He also serves as the Wing Chief of Staff in which he, as the G-Series commander, is responsible for operations and wartime tasks for members of the Comptroller Flight and attached Wing Headquarters functional areas.

 

Colonel Hill enlisted in the Kansas Air National Guard as a traditional guardsman assigned to the 190th Services Flight, Forbes Field ANGB, Kansas in 1988. Following Basic Military Training, he completed Services technical training at Lowry AFB, Colo. Colonel Hill was commissioned in 2000 as a distinguished graduate of the Air National Guard Academy of Military Science and was assigned to the 190th Logistics Group as an Executive Officer. In 2002, upon request of the Wing Commander, Colonel Hill became Chief of Public Affairs. Colonel Hill participated in multiple wing and squadron deployments to PACOM, CENTCOM and a State Partnership training mission to Yerevan, Armenia. Prior to his current position, Colonel Hill was the Commander of the 190th Communications Flight, Forbes Field ANGB, Kansas.
