Chief Master Sgt. Ron A. Rindt is the Command Chief, 190th Air Refueling Wing, Forbes Field Air National Guard Base, Topeka, Kansas. The 190th ARW operates and maintains a fleet of 12 KC-135R aircraft that provide global mobility airpower and deploys expeditionary forces in support of worldwide conflicts, contingency and humanitarian operations while maintaining a nuclear deterrence tasking. The wing also supports the State of Kansas and the United States of America during Natural disasters and provides domestic operations emergency response. Chief Rindt is responsible for advising commanders and staff on mission effectiveness, professional development, military readiness, training, health, morale, welfare, mission effectiveness, and proper utilization of the command’s enlisted Airmen.
Chief Rindt enlisted in the Kansas Air National Guard in January 1997, graduating basic training in May 1997 and attended the aircraft maintenance technical school graduating in September of 1997. Chief Rindt was a Expediter, Production Superintendent and Supervisor in the Aircraft Maintenance Squadron where he provided expert leadership and organizational skills supporting the critical alert mission. He served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for AMXS from October of 2016 to January of 2022. Prior to assuming his current position, Chief Rindt served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for the 190th Maintenance Group.
